The Ukrainian company “KASSONE” was founded in 2011 and embodies the way how to go through tough times, not to lose heart, and develop business and the national idea at the same time.
Borys Pylypenko, the director and co-founder of the LLC “KASSONE”: “The first step of the company during the war was to gather people. A month after the beginning of the war, we managed to resume production near Kyiv. For work we gathered those of our employees who had not left the country and did not wish to lose their job. We worked, so that our people could work. We worked during air alarms and missile strikes. And at the same time, we exported our products. To India, the USA, Singapore.” Roman Mykhaylov, the export partner of the LLC “KASSONE”: “For us, working was a remedy. While working, you feel a little freer from the war. And people feel free, too.”
What does the company “KASSONE” bring to the world? The aesthetically beautiful patriotism! This is something that can be beautifully transmitted to children. Values and history of Ukraine in the form of unique ethnical ornaments on furniture. This all is about the collection “Vyshyvanka”. The collection was created using ancient ornaments of the Ukrainian Cossacks, collected by the designer Kristina Gaidamaka,
Another collection – “Panopticon” for urbanists and those who keen on innovations and ready to challenge the traditions, but appreciate stability, quality and luxury of natural materials. It is a gallery collection consisting of artificial examples. The collection “Panopticon” represents the Ukrainian business, which had been developing rapidly before the war, broadening the horizons and developing its strategy far beyond Ukraine, that ended up in cramped basements and had to gather up strength to start all over again from scratch. And again, step by step, by small quantities of products, share the Ukrainian embroidery with the world.
The company “Kassone” is a participant of the project “Business Development Services Provided to Ukrainian MSME in crisis due to the ongoing war”. The directors of the company pointed out the fact that due to participating in the project and working with the consultant Olga Trofymova they were able to structure the chaos, feel the target audience on the internal market as well as understand, who are their customers abroad; define the positioning and realize themselves in that moment. “We sought to be heard by our customers in Ukraine and did our best to achieve this. And now, we realize what we need to be heard in the world. We realize the value offer which we bring to the customers. However, both in Ukraine and abroad, our main goal is to spread the Ukrainian spirit and traditions,” – summarized Borys Pylypenko.
