MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS
Event industry during wartime

“The issue of undemanded services and event industry market decline” – this is how the representatives of the management team of LLC SAKSKAY Pochayna Event Hall formed their request for participating in the project. Who would think about events, when we hear air alarms all the time, have problems with connections, and the energy of most of business is used for surviving and volunteering?

Before the war, the company had a stable and powerful, both technically and organizationally, reputation on the market. It also possessed one of the biggest locations including full package of services for implementation of events of different scales and types. When the russian aggression started, the team, which made a decision to stay in Ukraine and continue working, had to optimize the workload of all the employees and carry some of the functions over to outsourcing. They began working actively towards volunteering and charity events.

“The needs of the market have changed. The services demanded right now should be quickly transformed and adapted to the challenges of the field and constant risks. The most important task is to support business clients, preserve the jobs for employees and maintain connections with contractors, such as creative agencies, entertainers, equipment suppliers.

We preserved the core of our team which is able to work 24/7, we possess high qualification, but we’ve understood that the development must be structured. We had a mission, a vision, a modelled organizational structure, but we were in need for a new concept. A new business model. New products,” – recalls the project manager Olena Kyrychenko.

Together with the consultant Natalia Dzyuba, the team of Pochayna Event Hall have analyzed trends and possibilities of the market, defined the external context. It allowed us to form a classifier of services for a broader target audience and transform them according to the new work conditions. We managed to create and adapt 5 new services, analyze their cost and service value chains.

During the work on the project, the team started to develop a new marketing strategy, form new service promotion channels through digital-channels.

“We completely reviewed the positioning of solutions for clients: apart from locations, we provide complex solutions for each service,” – the director of Pochayna Event Hall Oleksandr Kondratenko shares the outcome. “We are delighted to be among those conscious Ukrainian companies which continue to develop and change during the war. We will continue to help the Ukrainian brands to develop through the efficient event marketing. We are grateful to CMC-Ukraine for this opportunity!” – summarized Oleksandr.

Professionalism of CMC-Ukraine consultants, their awareness of modern tendencies of the Ukrainian business development, knowing work tools and being able to use them, empathy and flexibility enable enterprises of different fields and specialties to receive noticeable positive results. The Ukrainian business has to recover and function.

We are proud to be helpful for our clients. And besides, we are thinking of how we will celebrate our Victory. We finish this project hoping that the number of victorious events for such companies as Pochayna Event Hall will increase. Let’s unite!
