The company “VESNA” – is a Ukrainian brand, manufacturer of natural hypoallergenic cosmetics. Family business, founded by a mother Inna Skarzhynska and her daughter Viktoriya Maslova in Bucha, near Kyiv, in 2015. Their startup capital accounted for 200 hryvnias.

“We carry a message that Ukrainian products are qualitative and competitive in the world. Our product is aimed to improve people’s lives. My personal secret is strong belief in the product and hard work. We need to not just be customer-oriented, but also work with love for people, with care for their beauty, health and needs,” – notes co-founder and commercial director of the company “VESNA” Viktoriya Maslova.

The uniqueness of the company “VESNA” is only botanical ingredients, authorical formula and open production. Thousands of people use their products and have visited their production laboratory.

Because of the war, in March 2022, company’s laboratory in Bucha was “visited” by russian occupants.

Today, the company ‘Natural cosmetics VESNA. Eco-center’ is relocated and has resumed its work in Lviv. The major customers are the Ukrainian soldiers, who receive healing and sun protection products free of charge; more than 2000 of products were sent to the front since the company resumed its activity. 

“Right after deoccupation, we resumed the work of our shop in Bucha, despite of broken furniture and absence of computer, we were selling products there and writing the income in a notebook,” – recalls Viktoriya Maslova.

One of the directions of development for the company is to expand export activity, so in order to design an export strategy, the directors of the company turned to the consultants of CMC-Ukraine for assistance.

“Within the project, we together with the consultant Iryna Galimska, carried out the analysis of markets for export of products. It was quite a discovery for us to find out how multifactorial the promotion of products is. To choose a correct market, we observe not only numbers, but also trends, culture and political situation. The most important thing for us is for our future partner to have the same values as we do. For the state, to which we are exporting, to be friendly. Thus, during consultations, we have already chosen the countries for cooperation,” – Inna Skarzhynska and Viktoriya Maslova shared the results of the cooperation.
