Conference "European Clusters integrating Ukrainian clusters and companies into the EU value chains"
Establishing of business relations between Ukraine and the EU, as well as finding partners for trade and investment is an invariable course of Ukrainian Cluster Alliance. Being full of opportunities to exchange information, experience, ideas and resources, the events contribute to forming stable cross-board business networks and ecosystems. The leaders of the cluster movement during the wartime in 2022 have become integrators and facilitators of the economic cooperation between the EU countries and Ukraine.
Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal became the keynote speakers of conference. The Ukrainian delegation included the President of CMC-Ukraine, head of Internationalization of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance and one of the initiators of the event - Olga Trofymova.
Apart from thematic interviews, Olga Trofymova gave a speech to the European colleagues during the panel discussion, which was dedicated to interregional cooperation. Marek Przeor – head of the Cluster Policy Group DR GROW in the European Commission – spoke as a moderator of the discussion.

During the conference, the representatives of national cluster associations of the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Lithuania and Romania signed a memorandum of cooperation; subsequently, the representatives of Poland and Slovakia plan on signing it, too.
The memorandum is aimed to create a long-lasting and effective development strategy, as well as to support and develop common resource centers, to increase interregional cooperation and to agree and integrate Ukrainian clusters into the EU programs.
Proactive position, professionalism and fulfilment of the obligations by the leaders of the Ukrainian cluster movement inspire more and more businessmen and representatives of the expert community. The space of cluster collaborations, experience and accomplishments of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance no longer need any arguments concerning their role in recovery of Ukraine’s economy.
